Keith: I stay in Novena. What about you?
Me: I stay in Harbourfront. Wow, rich boy leh haha.
Keith: Haha. Rich girl too eh? Harbourfront leh. Or Sentosa?
Me: No la… Don’t tell you which part haha.
Keith: Okay nvm I will know some day.
Me: Haha yeah sure. Anyway, is your Maths good?
Keith: Not to boast… but yeah. Haha! Why so?
Me: Haolian… Haha. Nah, thought you might teach me.
Keith: Sure, but I charge de uh. Haha.
Me: Why not… let me do a little something for you?
Keith: Ehhh what you wanna do?
Me: You’ll see. Heh.
Keith: Are you free this Sat afternoon? We can study together if you want to. Since Prelims is coming soon.
Me: Yeah sure. Where at?
Keith: Hmmm. My place is free. If not McDonald?
Me: Nope, let’s go to your place. I want to make a mess. Haha.
Keith: Yeah sure make sure you do that haha.
Me: Okay I’m heading back in class now, talk to you later Keith.
Keith: See you Cayley.

You are 23 and quite a few experiences to share already? Nice! I wonder, hmmm, how many more do you have, incl those you are not willing to share...

I was from a mixed school and it was nearing prelims. My grades were above average (compared to my peers) but my Maths was really really bad. During that time, my cohort started out with banding classes - not sure if you guys have it too but what it meant is that the teachers will separate students into different bands according to their results, obviously, band 1 is for As students and so the bandings go on until band 5. My Maths was in band 4 (yeah really that bad haha) and I was soon separated with my clique whenever there is Maths lesson.

Mr Cheong: Alright class, sit down. Today, you'll have a new classmate joining us.

Standing next to Mr Cheong was a tanned boyish looking guy. My eyes were fixated on him as I eye-raped him from top to bottom. At the instance, I finally knew what love at first sight really meant... or at least to me. He was about 1.7m+, tanned and well-built and wore a black frame specs.

Mr Cheong: Keith, why don't you tell the class a bit about yourself?

Patted on his back while Keith let out a faint smile looking down. Right then, I thought to myself, "Uh he has dimples! Why so cute!"

Keith: Hi everyone. My name is Keith and I am a transfer student from XXX (an all boys school - sorry gotta censor the name of the school but you guys can make a wild guess? haha) - I'm glad to be here and hope to know everyone soon. Thereafter, the whole class clapped.

Mr Cheong: Okay Caylay, can you raise your hand?

I was stunned and I felt as if the whole world froze for a second.

Me: Yes Mr Cheong?
Mr Cheong: Keith, that's Cayley. Did you see the vacant seat in front of her? That'll be your seat.
Keith: Okay sure.

Soon, he walked over to the table and Mr Cheong was about to begin the class. As Keith placed his bag on the floor, he let out the same faint smile with that charming dimples at me.

Keith: Nice to meet you Cayley.
Me: Nice to meet you too, Keith.
