If i am allowed to share my own experience in this topic. It is a story many many many moons ago.

I was formerly working in Jakarta, and part of my job required me to travel extensively around the Southeast Asia region to attend and support meetings. I headed a unit which comprised of 3 lady staff in my organisation (2 muslims and 1 christian). For any overseas trip, I was usually accompanied by at least one of these lady staff, and in this case, the christian female staff (call her "Sari" for easy identification) joined me for a energy meeting in Vientiane, Lao PDR. The year was November 2006, and the place was Hotel Don Chan Palace.

Let me described Sari for U. For me, my story is a little different. I last time always got no money, family conditions not good. Not enough money to pay for school also, so I was always looking around for work, work like dog like that try to earn some money just to live on it one day after another. But then once you blink eye, the money almost finish using liao, everything so expensive, it was very hard just trying to get by.

I felt to sick of being poor and cannot afford this cannot buy that, lunch time cannot eat with colleagues, must go find some spot and eat bread by myself. The little money that I earn go to paying for school, still cannot pay finish. Keep getting letters by the school to pay them, very very stressful. Everyday before I sleep keep thinking how to earn money, how to survive for tomorrow.

Lucky I got this aunty who sometimes give me money and help me out, but I very pai seh always take from her because she never earn much also. Sometimes she force me to take then I just take, but afterwards when she not looking I put back in her hand bag.
