You are half right! By right we should share contacts without asking for points. However, there is a benefit of points as well. When one have higher points, it shows that he has been consistently sharing in the forum. In turn, he will have higher chances of obtaining contacts of places shared by other bros here, as he will not be suspected of being an AV or number collectors etc.
