Altho the thread starters qns is really stupid and deserves to be zapped but a man can get fine or imprisonment for bigamy if he is married and yet registers another marriage with another woman.

I don't think there is any offence committed to warrent a jail term.
However, if he commits bigamy, there will be another issue!
