No, I am not residing in Thailand. Previously my knowledge of the Thai culture was simply from chionging the Thai nightlife both in SG and Thailand and getting involved with a few Thai guys, but I would like to think that I now understand the Thais and their culture more after interacting with them at their hometown and spending time with them out of their workplace... Though my knowledge might still be limited as compared to other experienced Samsters here, but I'm just sharing my opinions...

I've had my fair share of being kc-ed (because of, like what you mentioned, Thai guys and their way with girls...), at one point even having to deal with a broken heart and an empty wallet... But at the same time, I have made some really valuable Thai friends who make the effort to build a real friendship with me, not one based on money, and it is nice hearing their opinions from a Thai perspective sometimes. And through these friends, I have built my social network of Thais (both pooyings and poochais), and I've learnt so much more about Thais and their culture/lifestyle as a result.

A few of my Thai girlfriends tell me they would like to find a Singaporean guy because they've had many bad experiences with Thai guys who cheat on them. My only advice to them is that guys are guys, and their nationality doesn't determine whether they're jai dee or jai rai. Though I have to admit, Thai guys are much more butterfly than local guys (not referring to the Thai guys working in the nightlife scene btw)

And yes, it is not uncommon for a Thai to have more than one sex partner. But to them, giks are not gfs/bfs... This is from my personal experience. They see a gik more as someone whom they enjoy fucking, but there are absolutely no feelings involved. In some cases, some of them even have a stable gf/bf... I guess in our terms, a gik would mean a fuck buddy. Unfortunately that is not something I am well suited for... So I suppose that's why it always hurts me to know that I am just a FB in their eyes, when I actually have real feelings for them and hope that our relationship could develop further. Thankfully I'm past the novice stage and I now understand that there's a great difference between a potential partner (gf/bf) and a gik...

waaaa....this song reminds me of something tat happened to me years back....before I ended up with my OC now. I agree with your advices on your Thai girlfriends. Out of so many nationality but why Singaporean Wondering if they working as koyoty or singer in Singapore Thai disco? Eventually I think, they will still back to their Thai guys, one of the reason is communication, unless they meet someone who can converse in Thai language fluently, or they themselves can speak a decent English.

Well I guess it might be because Singapore is one of the countries closer to them, and also because they believe Singaporeans are able to support them, both emotionally AND financially as compared to Thai guys (not sure about physically though, hehehe. My experience is that Thai guys are able to satisfy me on bed more than local guys, but that is just my personal opinion and it might very well be biased... No offence to the local guys ). I have quite a number of Thai girlfriends who are currently happily attached/married to Singaporeans... Some of whom are leading simple lives, while some are fortunate enough to find rich Singaporeans who are able to satisfy all of their materialistic wants. And for the record, 80% of these guys are just average looking at best, some not even average looking... Whereas these girls are very pretty. Yeah, a few of them used to work in Singapore as coyotes/singers, but have since "retired" from the scene after finding a Singaporean gem

Seems to me like I'm always meeting the guys who want me as a gik more than as a gf. I am not surprised though... It would be difficult to maintain a relationship with me as compared to with a Thai girl since communication would be a whole lot easier with someone of their own nationality.

I have to agree about the lack of foreplay and small dick part, but that doesn't apply to all Thai guys la to be fair. And I think they make up for it in their skills so its good enough for me. For me, as a girl, the size doesn't matter as much as the feelings. With the right feelings, I could sacrifice some of the foreplay and make do with a small dick but then again, my opinion might be biased la... Hehehe.

Well like I've mentioned, some of them are not married to rich Singaporeans even though I strongly believe they have the ability to hook up richer guys. I don't know what goes through their minds but I know that what these Thai girls want from local Singaporean guys is simple. They want something which they cannot get from the Thai guys - a heart that loves them wholeheartedly, a heart that loves them enough to not be swayed by temptations and stray as a result of such temptations.
