Nt long after these incidents... Eve decided to go back to the pub to work part time again... I dun agreed to this idea but she promised me that she will be able to take care of herself well... thus there is no room for me to worry about her...
It was a Friday nite when she went to the pub again....Time passed by.... Feeling abit worried abt her... i decided to pop her a visit.... Eve: Hi... u r here... wat a surprise.. ( Smiling... she usher me to the nearby table) Me: Miss u.... Anyway can i have a jug of beer... Eve: Sure.... Looking at her dress attire... i feel abit uncomfortable.... ( It is her job... things r beyond our control ba......) Soon the beer was served... i could not forget that nite itself... as soon i found men trying to flirt with her.... and her response toward them was warm too.....a times she will cast glances at me... ( Deep inside my heart... i can sense that she feel abit awkward too... having me here as she cant be herself ba.......)

Me: Yup... sure... y not... ( I did my best to answer in a cheerful way.... Eve: Sorry as it is my job... Me: I Know... anyway i will be leaving soon after this beer... Pls do take care of yrself.... Eve: I will... no worries... With that statement of her... i finish my beer quickly and left the pub as i wanted her to have some personal space and time for herself... even though the images of those guys flirting with her keep flashing in my mind.... Feeling troubled... i found myself walking towards Funan centre for some lan gaming... when my mobile rang again... Paul: wru now... Me: Walking towards Funan for lan gaming... what abt u... Paul: same old pub.. come join us... with Pang and zhongyi.... Me: ok then.... be rite there... It does not take long for me to reach the pub... Zhongyi: Bro.. u reek of liqour... u drank just now... Me: Yup.. just have a jug.. Paul: R u ok... u seem troubled... ( Again there is a short pause....) Me: Sure... i am ok... just drink bros.. Ta! The drinking went on a few rounds... though i am always laughing... cracking jokes but i am actually deep in my thoughts.... Paul: Bro.. come out for a smoke... Me: Ok.. Soon we were outside the pub.... Paul: Something happen rite... dun keep things to yrself.... I soon relate to him what happened... Paul: u idoit... u just left the pub after yr drink... u should sent her home after she have knocked off... Me: but... Paul: Call her... if she have nothing to hide.. she would want u to send her home... Me: i want to give her some benefit of doubt... Paul: The choice is yours... It took me a while to struggle with myself as Paul is slowly finishing his fag.... I then called her and she did nt ans the phone... Me: she did nt ans the call... Paul: Wait for her to return call then... text her that u will sent her hm later.. then play by ear.... Me: Ok... ( I then text her..... can i sent u home after you have finish work?.... with that i headed back to the pub to have some more drinks...)

Moments passed by...... and there was no reply from her.... and my heart is more troubled as continued to numb myself with liqour......
Me: bro what bring u here today... i thought u r out dating... Paul: nope i came for her... he pointed at the pub waitress... ( Syt)... Me: knn.. no wonder.... Zhongyi: Very difficult to sian one.. knn she is the hot cake here.. Paul: That is y it is more challenging mah... Pang: u r really a bastard... Whahaha... ( Paul is soon laughing away and the others joined in the laughter..) Suddenly i dun feel comfortable as it really remind me of Eve.. working in the pub being surrounded by a pack of wolves... It is a very uneasy thought and i really feel very bek chek!.......

Sorry guys for the late updates for this story... just want to share some inner thoughts before i carry on with this story... this is one of stories which i find it the most difficult to write... too much emotional betrayal in this story... whereby till at this moment.. even when i am trying to recall the past and updating it... it seem to trigger the hurts again... nevertheless... as i have began my story... it is my duty to end it.....
Thus brothers... i urge yr patience and kind support in this story.....

Liqour was drank and songs were sung.... but my attention was not on the fun but was diverted to my mobile... waiting for a reply from her and finally the mobile rang..... Eve: where r u... the background so noisy.... Me: Just a second... i am inside the pub.... ( i rushed out of the pub in order to have a better reception...) Eve: I can hear you now... r u alone... Me: Nope with paul and some of the buddies... Eve: Ok... I am ok... no worries... Me: Can i send u hm tonite?... Eve: I may be having supper with my colleagues.. kinda of catch up with them ( Girls tok)... Me: Ok then... Eve: Unless u can wait for me at Lau Pa Sat ( Old market)... then u can send me home... will call u once i am done.... Me: k.. c u then.... After the phone call... my heart is more settled then.... at least i can send her home tonite... Paul: Glad that u r better now.... she call u already.... ( I then update Paul what is going on...) Paul: So she dun want u to be there while she is having supper with her friends... Me: Girls tok mah... nt conv for me to tag along de... Paul: Hmmn.... ( There is a slight pause after this statement... the expression on his face is funny... i have known him for years... and i can sense that he have matters on his mind but did not share it.....) Me: bro... anything wrong.... Paul: We tok outside..... We left the pub.... Paul: Bro... it take a lot of love and patience to be with Eve... her thinking is really worlds apart from u...... Me: Yup i know.... Paul: But since u have already decided.... i will support yr decision then.... Me: Thanks bro.....

The drinking session soon ended with Paul as he have the supper date with the pub waitress... Zhongyi too have to leave to meet his gf... i then proceed to lau pa sat to wait for Eve....
It is a long wait for her... by then... i have already finished three cans of green tea while i wait for her.... hours passed by and i finally received a call from her at abt 4 plus in the morning... Eve: Dear... r u still at Lau Pa Sat... Me: Yup... Eve: Sorry to keep u waiting... i will reach there soon.... Me: It is ok... dun need to rush.... take yr time... i will wait for u... Eve: Thanks dear... Soon i can see her approaching my table with her friends along her and my heart leap for joy... Eve: Dear.... paiseh.. it must be a long wait for u... Me: it is ok.... Stephenie: Eve... u r lucky to have a patient bf... Me: Thanks for taking care of her while she is working... Stephenie: No worries... she can adapt to the job easily... ok... dun disturb u guys le... we are off... Me: u look tired to me... ( Looking gently at her.... i stroked her hair... let go home then.....) Eve: I dun want to go home yet... just want to spend some moments with u... Me: Ok then... To be continued as i have to rush off for meeting...
