The first time when I visited batam last year, I walked from harbourbay to formosa hotel passing by Top 100 Jodoh and wet market area. The seasoning used to enhance the flavour of satay for both are different .

Indonesian satay is more crispy and sweeter which comes with black gravy whereas spore/msia satay comes with peanut gravy.
