Hi guys, this is a true account of what happened a few years ago. It was weekend, and there was no soccer on tv as it was the off-season. So a few of my friends went to one of those nice drinking places with a dance floor n stuff. It was going normal, I was drinking a couple of beers with my friends when someone tap me on my shoulder. It was these two friends who I knew from a course I took a few years ago. The subject here is Janice (not real name of course), the other friend is D (also female).
J : Hi, long time no see…
Me : oh hi…. Ya, it has been like what, 2 years, how are you guys? What u doing here?
J: good good… left xxx company abt 1/2yr after the course. Now we are both under yy company. U?
Me: still bumping around, doing property n some other business online. Wow, what u doing here? U seems to have a lot of girlfriends here tonite. (winking at them cheekily) What’s up? Girls’ night out?
J: No, it is my hen’s night. I am going married 2 weeks later, we thought we should celebrate it before that.
Me: I see, well, I trust that it is with Kenny right? (she nodded her head in a blissful manner) enjoy yourself. Your number is still the same?
J: yup yup. Hey call me later, maybe we can catch up over supper or something.
Me: sure sure, alright, enjoy yourself.
They left with a bunch of about 8-10 girls. A little background, I attended a one-yr course with them and even did a couple of projects together. Janice n I were quite close then as we were like the leaders in the group. So there were times when we two meet in the evening n finished our projects late into the night. I thought nothing of it and since Janice’s place is on the way back to mine, I said ok, and waited for the girls to ‘carry’ her out. I drove my car to a spot near the entrance. They put her at the back of my car. D sat in front and I drove off. To be continued.

Continued fr Part 1.

Shortly after leaving, Janice suddenly got a little more sober and told me to drop D off at her place. D and Janice’s place are just abt 2 traffic lights away. D and Janice knew each other since secondary school, and are very close friends. Seeing that Janice is more sober. D agreed. So I drop D off. After the door was close,
Janice said “hey, can u drive me to xx instead?”
Me: xx? Sure, but why are u going there for?
Janice: I want to go to my new place. Not exactly nice to let my parents see me in this state.
I agreed, got her address, punch into my GPS, and go. Finally reaching her block, I offered to send her up and she agreed, also due to the fact that she cant really walk straight and the place was quite quiet, and the carpark was almost empty. Seems like this is one of those new blocks just completed. She probably just moved in then, while a lot of other units are under renovation. There was a lot of dust on the floor all the way to her place. The plastic sheets on the glass of the lift door hadn’t been removed yet.

We used to chat a lot after projects, mainly after our lives, bf/gf etc. Then she asked abt my bachelor’s night. I looked at her in a puzzled look, trying to tell her that the lie, to me, will be a welcomed one. ‘seriously if I am Kenny, I will be more than happy to find that u are still a virgin at wedding night.’ I said. She looked worried, and shook her head. ‘Part of the reason why I told the lie was that I dun wan to appear that I am someone ‘whom no one wants’ becos he was probably my first more serious relationships.
