Ok.. I might get flame or blame for putting this up here, but I don't really care.. Feeling a bit "emo" now as memories just keep washing up of my baby girl..

I love animation. And the following extract is a part of animation called "Clannad - After Story" which I have seen before about 2 years ago and coincidentally I've chanced upon it again in Youtube today.

Why did I decided to start a thread to showcase this anime?

Well, firstly I believe it is a very nice show that is worth to see.

Secondly.. Because it relates rather closely to me.. I am a divorced man, and my ex-wife has custody over my daughter.. It saddens me that I am not able to have my daughter with me and watch her grow up everyday, teaching her manners and behaviours that I'll want her to nurture.. Playing games with her and bring her to engage outdoor sports more often.. This animation portrays everything that what a father I should have been and what I've longed for.. I'm sorry Elicia for being such a terrible dad...

Thirdly, trying to get you guys to cry lah... Ha ha...

Once again, sorry if you've felt that you have been cheated of your time to waste on this.. At least I know I'm not..

Well. You did not cheat me of my time. I am glad to read this. Thanks for sharing; hope it did help you release some of the emotional stress you felt.

I understand how it feels to be in your position. You may not be able to do what you wanted for your daughter, but hey, I am sure you are still able to visit your daughter from time to time, correct? Think of it this way, because of circumstances, every moment now spent with your daughter is ever more precious. Do not lament on what you could not do, but treasure what you could do. Be her guardian angel. Small she may be, but I am sure she will recognise your love for her.

Lastly, cheer up! Do your best and believe in happy endings! It may be dark in here with no way out now, but if you hold faith, and do your best, you will surely find a light to light your way out.

It's better for your kid (or any kids) to live with & see one happy parent, than to live with & see two unhappy ones.

You will always be her father.
