anyone know a gd urologist to recommend?

its been couple of wks now and ever since my last visit to fl my peehole seems to feel like its always open and doesn't close even when i'm not doing anything sitting down.

feel the urge to urinate sometimes but thre just isn't any urine. sometimes i get spikes or spasms of pain in the tip of my penis. and it feels like my urine wants to leak out from my peehole but can't.

been to dsc already and tested for ngu which was negative. still awaiting results of chlamydia which takes about a week i think. doc gave me a referral to see a urologist at govt hospital but i dun think i can wait for the appt which is like slightly more than a mth away.

meantime i suspect it might be some muscles inside or some infection inside my penis i dun know. thats why if anyone knows a gd private urologist be it in government hospitals or private practices it'd be gd as i'd like to know what exactly's the condition or problem i'm suffering from asap.

specific names of docs would be gd be it in public or private practices.

It turned out I had Benign Prostate Hyperplasia - an enlarged prostate. I'm 47 so I was coming up to the age (normally around 50) when it usually occurs.

Do u feel pain or aching at your lower back or flanks as well?

If yes, i think it could be a simple case of urinary tract infection. Just a course of antibiotics should do the trick.

Go seek professional advice.

Cranberrry juice. Expenive but drink it constantly (replacing all other fluids you normally drink) for a week.

I suspect it could be just urinary tract infection. Take a course of antibiotics will do. Ask your doctor for Bexinor (Norfloxacin) 400mg. Take it twice a day for 5 days.

How old are you? Prostate enlargement, infections or inflammation normally affect elderly men above age 50.
