1st time in Orchard Towers
So I took a walk down orchard road to see for myself what all the fuss was about. I won't lie I was a bit scared. I'm not from around here and I didn't know what to expect. It's funny walking past the stream of caucasian men down Orchard that obviously were returning from the towers. You could see a lot of nonchalant on their faces like it was nothing. Most of them were smoking cigarettes to reward themselves I guess.
I made it to the towers dehydrated after a 20 minute walk. I didn't realize I was there until I actually read the sign. Outside there was what looked like a man with huge breasts inside of a dress. He/she was talking to a man who didn't seem to mind it. There were some women in their late 30s outside too looking quite bored. They might have been older though; its tough to estimate the age of an asian woman as they all look young to me.
I walked in and the 1st thing I noticed was how terrible the air circulation was. The vibe was unpleasant as well. It was no place I needed to be. I had about 50 dollars in my pockets that I had designated to get a cab ride back to my hotel. I was not planning to meet anyone there, but just wanted to take a look. Now I had been with plenty working ladies back in the states, all "escorts". I put the " " because in such a small city like the one I'm from there isn't much variety and any prostitute can call herself an escort on the internet. I had been burned a few times by experiences where I was glad to let the female take the 500 dollars and leave my room without me touching her. Also I had a lot of pleasant experiences during my travels to bigger cities.
What I'm trying to say is.. I don't have a taboo feeling towards prostitution but I do not like street walkers either. I have a little part of me that has a heart that beats and dislikes the mere thought of a woman being abused and harmed in the sake of man's pleasures. So I hate pimps, and I hate traffic-ing women. Most strippers in the US chose to be strippers for whatever reasons they had. I don't know if movies like "Bangkok Dangerous" give an honest picture of how working ladies are recruited in East Asia or if its just an exaggerated stereotype. I don't know and I don't want to be part of such evil.
I managed to walk all around the Towers. There were a lot of males and very few girls walking around. It was past midnight so maybe everyone was inside the clubs. I didn't even want to go in. I avoided eye contact with the promoters both male and female because I was worried about my safety, that I would offend anyone by turning down offers.
I exited the place. A lady that was outside followed me. She repeated something in a language I didn't understand. She had a lot of kindness in her voice. I looked at her and said "I'm good, thank you" and walked away.
Now I would appreciate some advice. I'd like to meet healthy young women who would arrive at my hotel for our sessions and leave when the time is up. I don't really need to go 'shopping'. I don't enjoy that aspect. My budget is 300 SGD an hour. I've seen some escort websites that quote 1500-2000 dollars an hour. Those exist in the US and they provide you with the best of the best. It's not just about the sex. They give you that special treatment that makes you comfortable and in your own element. Are those expensive websites in singapore like that or are they frauds just upselling whatever is already in the market?
