Currently i am using ip6 but wanna try android. If you have any opinions on the samsungs, lg, nexus on the market now pls give a suggestion. I've narrowed it down to the s6 or lg g4 but still open to suggestions. TIA.

Re: Which smartphone would you choose?

Will be note 5, as it's screen is big. You can read up online articles/go youtube to watch comparison videos.

Windows lumia phones in future might overtake everything as they are coming out their phones with continuum feature that can simply connect your phone to a monitor to turn it into a pc, same goes to their tablets. People may start coming out phone OS simulators either to test out apps and have best of both worlds with a single phone just like virtual OS on our pc.

Re: Which smartphone would you choose?

Agree with you on the Note 5. Read many reviews and all good. Basically the Note series has been outstanding. I know a couple of people still using their Note 3 and hesitant to change.

Lumia phones i'm not sure many people will take to because the operating system is Windows. Nothing wrong with that but you have to agree that the IOS and Android systems rules for now.

Re: Which smartphone would you choose?

Based on my past experience with Samsung's S series phones, I can say do not buy their S6. I had tried their S2 to S5. In the beginning when the phone is still new, the performance is considered smooth but as time goes by, practically in less than 6 mths, it starts to lag and all sorts of problems will start to surface. Just to quote a few examples I faced. Camera unable to focus, photos captured with white noises, slow start up for apps, screen blackout occasionally and was unable to turn it back on until the battery is removed and put it back again and battery drains fast. However, I am now using Note4. It is fine for me. I give it a thumbs up. Hence, if you have a high budget, then you can opt for Note5. The Note series are more reliable than S series.
If budget is low, perhaps you can go for Oppo R7 Plus. Big screen, ultra fast charge and long battery life. As for LG G4, it is really an incredible phone but the battery drains really fast. If normal use such as messages and phonecalls, then 1 whole day should be fine but nowadays, we play games, surf the net, listen musics and watch videos with our phone so the battery will deplete very fast because G4's screen is super hungry for power.

Re: Which smartphone would you choose?

Brother TS are you ready for the swap? I mean ios and android the difference is really huge. If you were an iPhone user all your life please do some reading first.

Android allows you to have more say in your handphone. If you are the average abc user, I think most android phones would suit you. It's really user friendly. Erm, I think screen size and battery consumption is what your looking more about.
