Great pick up pub at Boat Quay

Hi all,

My inaugural post in Sammyboy.com.

There is this little pub, very cosy at Boat Quay that is patronised only by regulars. New patrons who visit the place are all introduced by word of mouth. The beer is very, very cheap. 8 bottles of Heineken goes for S$35 nett!

However the highlight of the place is the waitresses. On a typical night you will find something like 3-4 waitresses and they are all Chinese nationals who are here on student passes. The boss' criteria on hiring them? They must be young, pretty and able to socialise. These girls are open to flirting and it is unlike one of those places where you have to buy them a drink. Of course some of them will ask you for one but it's not a requirement as they are all paid a base salary already. Their job is to entertain the customers and make them feel welcomed!

If the girl that you have targetted likes you, they will willingly go out with you. I've done it with one of the waitresses and all it cost me was a couple of dinners at one of those Teochew porridge places. Theses are not FLs so if you treat them right and they fancy you, the sky's the limit as to what you can do with them at no cost to you!

Yes, it's true! It is $35 for 8 bottles of Heineken, nett. However, you have to inform them upon ordering.

In pub when they talk about bottle beer, it is 1/2 bottle size lah

that's why i say cheaper than SOME kopitiam. u dunno a lot of kopitiams per can also 4-5 dollar mah?
