Help with language

Hey guys, I'm not local and one of my buddies was showing me around and told me about this place. So I thought I'd get some advice from everyone. It seems to me that I have to be able to speak Mandarin to have a good time at any of these joints but unfortunately I can't speak a word. Any suggestions/ideas?

most places' girls can speak english sparingly at worst and if not, they will use sign languages

If not then avoid places with PRCs and go for places with Thais/Malaysians/Locals. hope it helps!

Hey thanks a lot for the help guys! The places I've been to so far have all been PRCs and such. Any suggestions on where to go?
