Bro, you are right. He is one nice guy who don't mind cheonging with a noob (I have much local experience but very limited intl). Frankly, I had one hell of a time in BKK this time and all credits to Bro Moonlight. Just last night, we met up in SC cos I promised a gal to bring her out for LT. And to accompany me, he BF a gal so that the 4 of us can go out together to enjoy. Went to Big Echo Karaoke (cos the gals wanna sing), spent close to 3500k, and we just split the bill. Okie, just a brief FR on the past 2 days. On day 2, I met up with a thai fren, and we went makan for lunch, came back to the hotel for "tea" (u know what I mean), and then went to TWD. Now I have to say Day 3 is the BEST and memorable night. But since I prefer to have a less-commercial feeling when bringing gals back, I told her to take a shower and go to sleep. She was rather surprised, and asked me what I wanted to do. Told her that I wanna make love to her (not sex..cos think it's very commercially driven), and she giggled. But told her to sleep and we talk about it later. Surprisingly, when I woke up around 12+am, I looked at the syt sleeping beside me, and that's when the action starts. Anyway, I do not wanna go into details, but it was really nice, slow and easy, and most importantly, not commercial feeling. She likes to be touched, and I like to touch. After that, we woke up at 8am and went on second round. Was a little surprised, as she had mentioned that she will leave at 6am. After that, we went for bkfast. Took her to see a doc, cos she was having a bit of inflammation of the throat (not due to me hor..cos she likes whisky). When came back, thought she will drop me off at the hotel and go back, but was surprised she went up with me. Ask her not tired, she said a little but don't mind spending a bit more tme with me. So, we went up, but both of us fell asleep again until 12.30pm. Then she had to go. Was a little reluctant because it was really fun with her. But anyway, we took some pictures together, (as usual, laughing and joking along the way),I gave her 3k for LT and a tip. And now, here I am, sitting alone at the hotel, writing this FR. Man, now I am missing her but was happy that she actually stayed with me for so long (17 hours leh! Not bad a deal for a LT)! Ha! Bro Moonlight said prob she was very comfortable with me, which I hope it is, because I am very comfortable with her.

So, a last note before I go back to reality later today, I have to say this is probably one of the best holidays I had. I came with not much of a plan, but ended up with most memorable one. And obviously, Bro Moonlight plays a BIG part. Even called me today to check on my flight, and we arranged to go somewhere else soon.

The first trial run of the new airport rail link has been postponed another three-and-a-half months, transport deputy permanent secretary Thawalrat Ornsira told the cabinet on Wednesday

The trial was scheduled for Aug 12, which is Mother's Day.

However, the contractors had advised they would not be able to complete the work by that date. So the first run had been rescheduled for Dec 5, or Father's Day, His Majesty the King's birthday.

Under the contractual agreement, building of the 28km route from downtown Bangkok to Suvarnabhumi must be completed by November.

It was now expected that the Airport link, which connects Phaya Thai and Makkasan areas to the international airport, would enter service in March next year, Mr Thawalrat said.

The State Railway of Thailand has said the fare will be 150 baht for passengers taking non-stop trains, and between 15 and 45 baht for trains that stop at every station.

Mr Thawalrat said the cabinet also approved the SRT's request to postpone the trial run of the rail link between downtown Bangkok and Suvarnabhumi airport from Aug 12 to Dec 5.

The airport link was now expected to begin full operation in March 2010, he said.

Once you've step in and yoy will be greet by sales executive, the theme is a bit european classic, and it is spacious with a huge chandelier. We have choose to sit in front of the stage as we can have a full view..hihihi. This club is just like most of thai clubs, with Live bands and interval with dj spinning hiphop/pop. During the dj session, you will have 30-40 SYT sexy cayote dancer (average 1.7 meter tall) dancing on stage. You can choose anyone of them to sit with u according to the sales executive, beside those dancers, you also can ask her to bring the WL which most of them sitting at the bar counter. There's only 1 pool table near the exit door to the smokin area, there's a long sofa in front of the pool table where there are about 10-15 SYT sitting there for you to choose to play a game with you..some of the them have big (.)(.) On the second floor, there are 10 Ktv rooms but you need to book in advanced. Since I dun speak thai so I asked the sales executive(mamasan) to bring me a tall SYT, wow..she pick 3(1.8 meter tall) SYT to choose, I pick a 1.83 meter tall OL look to sit with me. She's from ching mai and got the korean look ;-p
The ambience and music plus the service was good, partly bcos my friends can speak thai and is not a cheap place to chiong only if you are their member, membership fee per annual is 20000 thb (inclusive of 8 bottles of liquor and 10% discount of service) , I think..correct me if i am wrong ya! ;-)

Damn haha bro this taxi driver must be very happy as he brought you guys to a MP that pays him commission (THB500 per pax). THB500 extra added to your bill. THB1300 + 500 = THB1800. :D

Embassy's quality sucks big time boy. There're many MPs on the Petchburi stretch. Also try the ones in Ratchada or Rama 9. MPs close at 12am. Don't go too late.

I suggest you delete Taxi Tom's number away so he'll not bring people to lousy places any more! :D

Thong Lor (and Ekkamai) is near many night spots for trendy and well heeled types eg Muse, Song Salueng, Curve, Jet and G-clubs like Sherbet. Straight from office to fun. Also some rub down joints (check out massage thread).

There shd be hotels in main sukhumvit stretch (vicinity of Thong Lor) to suit your budget and tastes. Many bkk hotel webbies to choose from ..by location, with pics and reviews too. There's Tim's site (sbf sponsor) here too with his own thread. 2 weeks, maybe some apartment style short stay may better suit you with basic kitchenette, wifi/LAN (work and play)

And a quick initiation is aggs at Soi Cowboy (soi 23 suk), further end Nana soi 4. If horny still, check out Ratchada across town for MPs:p

And who knows, you may even RTV (return to visit) for RTF. Sanuk (enjoy in thai lingo);)

5 hours is too long to be hanging around the airport, so i guess i want to head out since i'm arriving at ard 11pm @ survarnabumi.

Used to have an arptment, damn long nv stay hotel liao, does anyone know of any rooms or hotels that charge by transit hours?

Basically just need a bloody place to drop my bags somewhere for 5 -6 hours, most likley wont be sleeping cuz I will have all the time to sleep on the plane.

That what i'm thinking too. The local ask me to search hotel i want. they will just pay it. That why i'm little unsure where to stay.

Depending on your budget, apartment style hotel may better suit short to medium stays. Slightly bigger room with living area and kitchenette, is also better for living out of a suitcase and amongst similiar work residents (quieter, more relaxed) over regular tourists thronging cafes, lobby areas.

Legacy at soi 29 suk (not far from Thonglor) is not bad. But Thonglor and Suk area is prime location, and comfort comes with price tag.

For me, if I want to stay near Huai Khwang area, I will choose to stay at Palazzo, a about 1800bahts hotel popular with Singaporean. For Sukhumvit, I always choose the no-frills 1500bahts Everich Hotel. I look its location, just steps away from Nana BTS station, and right in the middle of the Sukhumvit street shopping. The room is small but cosy.
