This Noi Seafood dish quality is not bad & the price is reasonable too. Especially, the steam quid with garlic is hot & spicy.It's good to boost up your physical level for the late night exercise with your "Tirak". There are many pretty "Puying" patronise this joint too. Cheers.

That is true, no wonder everytime I see sunrise then I realize that time to sleep.....! The kow ka moo (pork leg rice) there is good....never miss it, and can also wash my eyes with girls from nearby MPs buying clothes, having supper....!:D:D:

Just now tried a Thal FL , she also recommend two seafood places in Huay Kwang , as she worked in one of the MPs there. She gave me the name in Thai , I dont know how to input using English keyboard. I think I just need to point the two names to any pedestrian they should know. She also recommended two of Ang Pais in her MP but cost 5k , i dont think I can afford . Those who want their names PM me for the MP and the gal names.

Huay Kwang market starts around 9pm, except Mondays when most road side stalls are closed, until the next morning when the food & market stalls open so da place is macham like 24 hours! The eating places I mentioned are open for dinner time until very late... usually go there makan after AGG close and thats like 2-3am leow.

Was at another local restaurant there last month and they had this huge banner hung on the wall looking for "suay sao" to work at a MP (I think Colonze, sorry jam mai dai). Didn't know what it said until tirak translated it for me. Thats Thailand for you... the strange (to me at least) & peaceful co-existence of black & white. Imagine seeing a sign like this in your HDB kopitiam?

3.RCA is not within walking distance to Huay Khwang. RCA is 2 MRT stops away from Huay Khwang and that is quite far to walk ( Huai Khwang - Thai Cultural Centre- Pharam 9 MRT ). Take a cab. Slim and Felix are clubs that are interlocked with each other. Go into Slim and there is a pathway inside that leads you to Felix. You can go inside 1 bar and this can leads you to enjoy 2 bars at one go. Lot of young girls in both bars. Pls bring your identity card because the bouncer will check your age before letting you go inside ( unless, you know someone inside to book a table and the that gal/guy waits for you at the entrance and brings you in without identity checks ). This happened to me sometime ago.

Personally I would suggest staying lower suk as it is within walking distance to Nana and cowboy and in the afternoon there is eden club to visit. :) and late morning fls are available at the coffee world near soi 7/1. :P and at night there are the stalls selling stuff and food stalls everywhere.

I was there just last week & they close at 0200hrs on the dot. From what I have seen so far, the vast majority of entertainment places close at 0200hrs unlike in the past, which might be a blessing in disguise because there's no where else to go but back to the hotel to rest. Hahahaha.

Anyway as for Hollywood disco, if you know some of the staff there, you can bring your bottle over to Spoon where you can chill the night away & there're people who will take your food orders & stuff like that. There are also 2 - 3 small karaoke "huts" & a big room where I stayed with my bros until 0700hrs in the morning before dragging my ass to a taxi to go back to the hotel to sleep.

Update on Hollywood closing time. Last night was show night and the music was still going on until past 3am. Them PRs were handing out the calendars outside the joint. Agree that you can get a solid massage in Subway, but they always try to hit you with a special, even if the masseuse is bordering aunty category. Dont know which is the best traditional massage, but the locals love Healthland which is reasonably priced and definitely no hanky panky. There is a branch on Ekkamai soi 10, off Sukhumvit 63. Senses on Sukhumvit soi 19 just past the Family Mart is also good for a no specials massage. Let me see .... at the end of soi 33 away from the Sukhumvit main road there is a nicely furbished massage place. Prices are reasonable and service is professional. Only tried foot and shoulder there and it was really good. Sorry dont know of any places with male masseuses :) Have fun.

Just some info which may interest bros here on feb (just after peak 14-16/2 cny hols). Was looking at window 19-23/2 with suitable timings etc. Earlier this week, Jetstar quoted 228. Kns, next day up 288. Tiger (with zero service) was a blood sucker circa 350. AirAsia by comparison 268. Before extras or add ons for check-in baggage (never mind no makan and squeezed seating).

More favourable comparison on Zuji was regular airlines by TG, Cathay at 300 without forking out extras. SQ beyond my threshold at 484/500 (but for other low periods can look at circa 350). So booked TG direct (easy webbie) at 295. Budget maybe cheaper if book real early outside blackout dates, but regular airline maybe worth another look at off peak periods. 2 fingers up at Tiger -pay more (so ironic) and kena part of circus act.

Try this joint situated directly opposite palazzo hotel, the joint is @ level 2 immediately after a 7-11 con-store. A clean & good skill massage with reasonable price. On my recent NY trip I came across a new up and coming boutique hotel in ratchada near the hindu elephant shrine and in front of huay khwang station. The 1st floor lobby have a bar with a big flat tv screen and four nice ktv rooms on the M floor open to the public, charges about 700 to 800 bahts for the first two hours and follow by 100 bahts every hour. According to the management the hotel rooms about 40 will be ready in march and the promotion rates from 800 to 1,000 bahts per night. Do not confuse with the small hotel next door.
The place is very convenience and near to all the entertainment area and also for those who like to walk around huay Khwang night market like myself.:D

Senses on Sukhumvit soi 19 just past the Family Mart is also good for a no specials massage. Let me see .... at the end of soi 33 away from the Sukhumvit main road there is a nicely furbished massage place. Prices are reasonable and service is professional. Only tried foot and shoulder there and it was really good. Sorry dont know of any places with male masseuses :) Have fun.

Buy the voucher package is cheaper, $1000 baht per booklet. Tried their sports massage (whole body), $250, Legs massage $250 all using the vouchers. I saw many couples going there as well. This place is made well known by their international tennis star and many rich local taokays.

The one at Sathorn Rd is the better one. You will see alot of young pooying working exe going there as well.

1) Make a donation at Wat Hualampong. They collect money for poor people who cannot afford a decent funeral. Many Thais do that to make merit. Best part is the temple is open 24 hours. Wat is near the Hua Lampong MRT... confirm with your hotel/locals again.

2) If want to pray for gambling luck. There is a temple near either the Ekkamai or Thong Lor BTS station. Inside there is the mummified body of the last criminal executed old skool style (i.e. beheading). Thais pray to him for lucky numbers. Very sorry I can't remember the name of the temple but its along Sukhumvit road after Soi Thonglor vicinity.

3) If more hard working can do the 9 Temples Tour. They are all in the old part of Bangkok (Rattakosin/Chinatown area). Involves buying offerings at the temples. Suppose to change your luck and make merit in the process.

4) If even more hard working make a trip to Sri Racha to visit the White Dragon Prince made famous by Andy Lau and other Hong Kong stars. More info can be found at the Pattaya thread.

i have also been there n it costs less than THB1k for a table of 6 persons to have a decent seafood meal.

Remember that Thai vampire show Nangnak? Apparently she did exist and there is a very popular shrine where is she worshipped. An extract from another website...

Apart from general blessings and protection, Mae Naak is benevolent at giving out winning lottery numbers. On the eve of the lottery draw, the shrine is particularly busy. Ticket sellers, fortunetellers, and merit-offering vendors of fish and bird flock the area, and they all seem to enjoy lucrative business. Mae Naak, furthermore, is popular among young men who are going to attend another "lucky draw", the so-called "red bean black bean" draft. Since Nang Naak's grief and misfortune was caused by military conscription, she is believed to detest the call-ups and naturally becomes the patron deity for those who want to get out of it. Was in BKK on 7 and 8 Jan.

Made a booking for a session with one of the more prominent mistress in town while in Singapore. Finished work at about 4pm and went back to the hotel for wash up before reaching her dungeon at 7pm. Tok dam long to reach as the taxi driver got lost (add to that the after office hour jam).

Once inside the reception area, I was asked a few questions to assess what I was into. Being my first time, they wanted to make sure that I knew what I was getting into.

Will not go into details but to cut the story short, I came out bruised on the bum, face and nipples. Also got my ass poked by a fuckin dildo.....:confused: which was not what I had asked for. Tried asking her to stop but she did not. The session was to have lasted for 3 hours but was cut short as she sensed that I was no longer enjoying.

Went back to hotel and slept till next morning.

Next day, met my colleague for lunch and she asked what I was doing at night and if I wanted to go clubbing with her and some friends but I declined as I wanted to chiong (of course I did not tell her this but said that I already had plans). Agreed that I will meet her if I am done and had no other plans.

Had dinner at Yawarot (Chinatown) alone. Ordered a bowl of sharks fin soup, a fish maw stew and a steamed fish. Bill came to THB 3,000+. Food was lousy. The sharks fin soup was starchy, tasteless and unlike the ones we get in Singapore which comes with crab meat. Fish did not seem fresh. Anyway, I think the restaurants around this area are a rip off. Will not go there again.

After dinner, went to Nataree. As I entered through the door, was immediately brought to the right side where the "models" are. There were about 8 girls and they were not exactly good looking (more like the dark skinned type that farang would like). Took one and went upstairs and had HJ only as she looked even worse when we entered the room. Damage was either THB 2,500 or 3,000 (cannot remember). On the way down after the session, passed by the "fish tank" and saw all the suay pu-ying only to regret having been too kan-chiong and not select from the fish tank.

On the way back to the hotel, stopped by Nana Plaza but did not like the place as it was too.......trying hard to find the right word to describe......rowdy? crowded? so took a taxi to patpong and headed for one of the open air bars where I downed a few Mekhong-cokes before I was joined by 3 ladies who suggested that I take them all for the night for THB 6,000. As 2 of them were quite stunning (though not SYT type and probably in their early 30s) and I have never tried 3 at one go, agreed without bargaining.

On the way to the hotel, we bought 2 bottles of Johnny and a Tequila. We all got high and had a really wild time. Next day woke up so late that I missed my flight and and to extend the room for another day, so decided to leave on Sunday instead. Spent the rest of Saturday nursing my hangover.

Next day, met my colleague for lunch and she asked what I was doing at night and if I wanted to go clubbing with her and some friends but I declined as I wanted to chiong (of course I did not tell her this but said that I already had plans). Took one and went upstairs and had HJ only as she looked even worse when we entered the room. Damage was either THB 2,500 or 3,000 (cannot remember). On the way down after the session, passed by the "fish tank" and saw all the suay pu-ying only to regret having been too kan-chiong and not select from the fish tank.

On the way back to the hotel, stopped by Nana Plaza but did not like the place as it was too.......trying hard to find the right word to describe......rowdy? crowded? so took a taxi to patpong and headed for one of the open air bars where I downed a few Mekhong-cokes before I was joined by 3 ladies who suggested that I take them all for the night for THB 6,000. As 2 of them were quite stunning (though not SYT type and probably in their early 30s) and I have never tried 3 at one go, agreed without bargaining.

On the way to the hotel, we bought 2 bottles of Johnny and a Tequila. We all got high and had a really wild time. Next day woke up so late that I missed my flight and and to extend the room for another day, so decided to leave on Sunday instead. Spent the rest of Saturday nursing my hangover.

Will be heading back to the Land of Smiles towards the end of January

Had 3 raw oysters, big Heineken, steamed seabass, stirred fried kang kong & rice for BHT600 (inclv tips). Maybe not the cheapest in Bangkok but food tasted good and at around $26 for two cheaper than Singapore good enuff 4 me. If Ah Gong paying then this place gives a machine printed receipt.

Afterwards had dessert of birdnest at the big sharkfin/birdnest shop next door. Ordered 2 bowls but sorry can't remember how much. I think less than BHT500. Normally I dun take birds nest coz think its a very exploitative & harmful trade (same sentiments towards sharksfin) but tirak never tried before. The shop I ate at has been around for many years already and I think what I ate that evening wasn't fake.

I doubt if the sharksfin soup or birds nest is fake as the difference is quite obvious. It is more likely that they use the lowers grade stuff which is actually very cheap. Go NTUC and take a look at the frozen section and you know what I mean.

u get
1. Good Thai restaurants.
2. one seafood i know of inside the square where u can eat there or order
from one of the pubs there.
3. Pubs drinks much cheaper that Soi 33 abd BF negotiable usually 500bht if
not too early and no BF if u have been drinking there for some time
already.
4. Also have thai massage with and without hanky panky at very cheaper rate
5. Many of the workers in this area speak english.
Overall this place is very much cheaper than soi 33 and the restaurants mentioned in this thread. Going rate for girls overnight 2k.
One thing I would advise is not to go to a upmarket looking pub/disco Titanium about 100metres b4 the square unless u want to spend money for curiousity. Guys drinks 200bht and girls 250bht and all they do is drink and talk with you no tapao. Lots of farangs some with their own farang women listen to the music by an all girls band.

Was there middle of last year... the place is after the Sutthisan/Rachada junction. If driving, about 5 to 10 minutes after passing the junction on your right side. Daytime its a normal looking restaurant but at night it turns into something like Thermae at Sukhumvit. One Krungthep old bird brought me there as our last stop from a night of exploring joints off the beaten track. His own experience was also bad but he brought me there just to have a look see. Bro Tony Stark (lost in China?) also mentioned this place.

Anywayz it was late like 1am or 2am when we arrived. Looks like your usual Chinese restaurant with round banquet tables but that night only one table was occupied by puyings. OK granted they looked "chio" but they were unsmiling (bad sign #1!)... captain (crew cut & pudgy guy) comes up and asks us want girl or not. We said look-see only. Ordered a large Singha and came with some popcorn which we never ordered so tot free but later kanna charged (bad sign #2) think it was BHT100. Night was long, drunk too much and Goldilocks caught my attention. So Captain Crew Cut brings her over... speaks good England... said name was Michelle aka Bam Bam (yeah I would like to do it to her) and studied business or accounts at Bangkok U. Rates were thrown out, nego LT for BHT2,000 go back next morning. My fren feel tired say go back but Mr. Itchy Cock say dun want sleep alone so agreed to price. Re Amsterdam, you walk in and there's a lounge with FB. Quality is really hit and miss and depends on individual taste. Saw some pretty hot gals there a few weeks back. Service was top knotch and the rooms are nice with jacuzzi bath. Girl I had V38 was recommended by Papasan, not the best in looks but service really good. From the second we went in the room, it was blue movie sex all the way till time was up, and boy did she know how to make use of the jacuzzi jets! Prices are posted in the BKK Massage thread. Just came back from BBK . Too shack sleep from 3pm Friday till today morning , almost sleep 2 hours per day .

I will suggest u guys to take skystrain / MRT . BBK traffic is really horrible , from my hotel to huay Kwang taxi take 1.5 hour and train only 30 min. Somemore in the train u can bio chio bu. Lots of chio bu and they even smile at you.

just came back from BKK. was there for a short trip, visited caesar & nataree. nataree is my favourite. if you are looking for SYT nataree is the right place to visit now. most of the gals are from the north (some from laos etc) i.e. fair skin and fresh (mostly 18~19 yrs old only). the OKT can speak mandarin. he recommended a 18+ gal for me (damage 2.6k baht). unfortunately, that girl can only speak thai and i can't speak thai :(. her service was very good. managed to have 2 shots within 1.5 hrs. i think i was lucky cos the gal my friend had only agree to go for 2nd shot with additional tip. my gal didn't ask for any extra for the 2nd shot but i did tip her as her service is very good. only regret is that i can't speak thai.

caesar also have gd looking gals. but the gals are usually older than nataree and they know how to wear make-up to make them look attractive (some i suspected to have gone for bust ops). they are more costly compared to nataree (usually >3k).

Last night spend some time in a local karaoke place on Petchaburi, on the right as you walk from Ratchatewi BTS towards Pantip. It's one of the only two "hanging flowers joints" that I've found in central Bangkok (the other one is just after the boy gogos at Patpong in the same soi). Decor dingy and home-made, little stage at one end, customers sit at tables, can order food. Gals come up to sing one by one or in groups of up to 4. Wearing slutty evening gown type costume.

One gal got 1000 baht around her neck, but most have 200 or 300. Not everyone gets. Standard of gals not too bad, though they look a bit wan and pasty.

I don't know the conventions of these places, so I thought I'd ask for some background to compare with what the papasan tells me if I ask. Anyone know what kind of rates and action to expect?
