If i take the train from airport to makkasan using express line , is it walking distance from Makkasan to MRT's Phetchaburi station ? Or do i have to take another train or taxi to Phetchaburi ? My hotel is near to Huai Khwang. I found taking skytrain and MRT is much faster and fun than taxi , waste of time in taxi for the jam .

1. If u are staying near there, then just take the taxi will do as it is quite near to the airport would say an resonable bout 30-40min ride

Just take the cityline instead of the express line. Much cheaper and travel time is only slightly longer.

From Makkasan station, you need to walk at least 10 mins to Phetchaburi MRT Stn. Total time taken will be around 45 - 60 mins to reach Huai Kwang MRT from Airport.

like to post my experience on the tigerairways flight from sg to haikou on the 28th feb

as i witnessed, there was a passenger who encountered some medical emergency at the 2hr mark during the flight.

the flight attendants were not able to assess his medical condition and just took an oxygen gas tank to let him breathe.

a few minutes later, they started to ask for doctors and/or nurses to come forward to help the guy, btw the announcement was made in english when most of the passengers on board were from mainland china.

then later some guy came along and did some CPR on the fellow while even later on more china girls did CPR on the fellow. all this while the flight attendants did not do any CPR on the fellow.

later the flight was diverted to vietnam 1hr after the fellow had his medical condition. and it seems like the guy was dead as the flight attendants carried his body and left it on the seats without looking into him any further.

question is:

My small little FR for my trip to bbk on 2nd Mar till 5th Mar (tomorrow going back) First time writing this. Forgive me if I make any mistake.
Managed to get a air ticket by Cathay Pacific from Natas Fair. Managed to get cheap last min ticket to bbk at $240/- all inclusive. :-) as usual, the flight is CX712.

Day one
Reached bbk airport. Took the new train service. Just go to basement 1 to take train to makkasan. No need to buy any ticket from airport to take the train. You will pay upon arrival at makkasan before you go out. It will cost you $150BhT at abt 10mins ride. Upon arrival, go out by basement car park and follow the sign to city train to get myself to sukhumvit soi 21 as my hotel is fusion suites hotel. After settle down, went to china town to buy goods.

At night, took BTS to Pang Pong. When to one of the agogo bar to look for my coyote. She was surprise to see me after 3months. Came over and hug me. Then buy 4 LD for her so she can sit with me whole night. Usually if you buy abt 4 LD, they won't "butterfly" thru out the night unless there is many customer and I got myself a bottle of chivas cost 2200BhT and Plus LD drink and mixer. Total cost me near to 4000bHT. Drink 1/3 only. Plan to keep till last night. Managed to get my girl to follow me back hotel and she agreed to stay with me thru out. First night, first round fired thru CD. Better be safe then sorry. Hehe. Noticed got blood. She mentioned period just ended. Around 10 to 15 ba. It's so much faster then taxi which cost up to 400 to 500 with toll. This is best for one traveller and especially traffic jam. I confirm this and I'll be taking the same transport back cause I traveling alone.

Done this few X, and yes the ride is about 15 mins (only express link). Not sure on the city line with station stops. But you need to add some time for waiting train to come in on platform (frequency's good) + also for it to move off. Makkasan station back in Jan was a ghost town, not many passengers. With TG check-in counters now (but need 4 hours lead time?), and more airlines later.

Good for singles without lugging too much heavy luggage. But if you are 2 or more, maybe worthwhile to cab it (notorious bkk gridlock permitting)

To get to sukhumvit Soi 21 from makkasan station, you have to walk out of makkasan station and walk about 3-5 mins to the Phetchaburi mrt and take one stop to sukhumvit mrt(3 to 5 mins). From sukhumvit mrt, u get out and walk out and u can take Asok BTS.

Hosay lah, never sit before Business Class. The feeling in the business class is wonderful as you are like VIP. After checked-in, we went to Nebo Cafe for breakfast and she told me she works at Naughty Girl at Orchard Tower before and she is going there again during May. I give my number to her and ask her to keep in touch with me. Upon time up, she sees me walked in the immigration. After immigration, I went to search for Business Class Lounge, try my luck but was informed by the counter that lounge service is not available for free upgrade passenger. Super paisei and went to the gate to board the plane back. The rest of the experience in Business class is really wonderful. You have to try it once if you never had it before. Cheers.

Are you using Iphone 4? If yes, my suggestion, dont take AIS service provider. Have a bad experience cause keep on unable to call out. For AIS, iphonr 4 sim card cost about 300bht (its lesser, forget the exact amount) and top up 200bht. For 300bht, it gives you 60hr of internet connection. It is very useful if you are using google map but you have to turn off when not using if not the hr will use up. 60 hr is enough for you to turn-on 2 1/2 day. so my suggestion is you can turn it on 24hr after 2nd day onward. (Remember to Bring your iphone 4 PIN to take out the sim card)

I believe the baggage check in for Makkasan station is only for Thai Airways flights currently. I'm not too sure if they have expanded the service for all airlines yet.

Bro firstly, are you a PR or stationed in BKK? If not how to run it full-time all by yourself, also unless you are fluent in thai or well verse with doing business esp. food business in Thailand, otherwise i doubt its gonna be easy, plus you have to worry abt the logistics, marketing, supply source for food & drinks, "tea-money", staffs etc etc...that is if you even by past the renovation part....its definitely gonna cost you more than just that 300K...so cheap and can make money dun think you would even have a chance to take over liao:p

Think you really got to do some real homework and not merely by asking around...you would need to make several trips there, survey the crowds, get quotes and do a real calculation on the actual figures needed to come upfront and the money needed to sustain before you actual see some profits...

4K baht/day = 120K baht/mth. As a rough guide, net profit for these type of places is around 20% of turnover. So you are probably looking at around 20K baht/mth profit. I'm not even sure how you get the figure of 1.5K baht/mth profit. And I'm not even sure how you can think that 1.5K baht is the average salary of an office worker in BKK.

12/3/2011 nite in Bangkok.

The show was good. Six puyings were lesbians upstairs while 8 ladies were totally naked downstairs. They got a big applause from us, the Yipun were screaming and clapped liked crazy. Yes, young Japanese very lian, lian, big here in Baccara.

It was 1 am and we were not even drunk and walked to Scratch Dog.

Only 2 of us and we got no puyings. So i selected the cheapest bottle of alcohol which was Red Label at THB1,200. Got our arms stamped and we went to a low table in the middle of this club.

The table was right in the middle of many tables. It was facing the DJ. Some people inside as it was 1.30 am. More people were coming in. But no seats on our table. We stood up and surveyed the surrounding around us. Ordered 2 small bottles of water, 2 soda, i bucket of ice that costed me THB420. We drank, danced, talked rubbish, eyed the nearby tables, especially those with only puyings. Good music, just liked in some clubs in Danok. My type of music !.

Two Singaporeans with 2 presumably WLs came to the next table. Then, lobster said one of them is from Germany. I said the other one said he is from Australia. We laughed out. Damn funny !. These two tried to be so high class and pretended to be from Germany and Australia. Yeah, shit !. And i am from the nation of Tedimedipudiah ( Indian for " Screw your M***er ").

Two Japanese also were in our next table. The two of them finished their first bottles of beer and were down on their second bottles. Okay, lah. Let's be friendly with these Japanese. I poured a very very strong portion of alcohol into their glasses ( while lobster was urging me to put in less, less and less mixer so to make it strong ). We drank, talked, be friendly and i was watching the several puyings tables. Later, as i expected, the Japanese were taken out by the puyings. OHHhh !. They just came, no fucked these two old looking fellows. The ladies just talked and took off with the young Japanese and were in the table behind us. :eek: We cursed liked hell and wished that the earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan should be more powerful on impact !!!. That got us laughing !!!. Yes, quite high on alcohol.

Me, old man, even with thousands and thousands of THB and RM in wallet also cannot compete with the young Japanese in Baccara and in Scratch Dog. Oh yes, WL in Bangkok like the Japanese.......and generousity ........and love their wallets.

u SHLD and only go to scratch dog with girls along..not a gd idea to go there and hunt as most are there with their jipun customers, while the katoeys are out for free drinks ( like usual ) , wont advise u guys to go there to collect phone numbers for next time etc.. no point...

Was looking for a some spot to sit, and this gal smilingly offered hers which was on top of a big plastic box. She was just done with her sup buri, and I smiled back and thanked her.
