Two nights ago I toured around Nana and SOl Cowboy with no intention of barfine. So I had a good look of few agogo inclduing aforementioned Rainbow 2. I reached Rainbow 2 shortly after 9 pm. First of all, I did not find # 80 and # 84 ( i forgot about # 69 while I was there ). There was one stunning beauty of scale 9.5-10.0, wearing tag # 152 in Rainbow 2. In fact she did not glance at any customers like all other girls, beacuse barfine defintely finds her in every night she was dancing. After a couple of songs, she had been no longer on the stage. So cheongster who want to take a look, they need to go early. The other dancers did not make any particular impression to me.

One aspect about Rainbow 2 is the music tends to be 'softer", less annoying, and easier to the ears.

I sat around Barcarra in Soi Cowboy for a while as this place was ofter talked about. It was very crowded with a full house, plenty of ladies milling around. Time goes by too quickly in LOS and I just didn't have time to write detail observation in that post.

I spent one night in Patpong few days ago. In the prime hours during the peak tourist season, none of the bars in Patpong could fill half the seating. Also a good portion of Patpong One had been boarded up for renovation ..., no idea of the change they have in mind.

I went to 4 bars in Patpong One. Superstar Bar was not worthy. King Castle One was OK, not outstanding. They have a few not bar EuroAsians with more conspious farang facial features. King's Camelot was the better bar in my opinion. Note that Patpong wants customer signing paper slips when ordering drink ( similart to the bars in Manila ). The sale pitch also more rigorous in Patpong than Nana or Cowboy as they seems to be rather desperate.

As to King's Corner bar enquired by Bro Massageboy. I had good memory of that bar since camping over there for a few hours once upon a time 5 years ago. King's Corner used to be staffed with both ladies wearing gogo boots and ladyboys wearing shoes, roughly half and half radio. There was an open bar counter with female bartenders wearing colorful jackets. Among the bartender staff, two very gorgeous pooying bartenders ( they are very petite real deal, you guys don't make the wrong assumption please ) were was really worthy for me hanging around all night and eventually barfining one of them.

Nowadays, King's Corner had been renovated to be smaller in size and the open bar in the centre had been gone. All girls wear shoes. However, other than the obvious ones, I could not figure out the genders of some of girls there. To be cautios, I would lean on the safe side and pick up girls elsewhere.

Did not mention those small bars at soi 7/1 and soi 22 as they have fewer gals from outside coming in. Went to the soi 22 Queen's Park 2 years ago- went deep inside and only one small bar open. Only me and 2 friends in the bar playing pool-was very quiet :D The ones at Soi13 -Pool 13 if I am not mistaken were opened about 2 years ago- nice and more spacious place and can hook up with gals from Thermae and soi 11 discos. :)

On a slightly different topic, but still related to BKK.....

I've been using the social websites to chat to Thai ladies in BKK. But the last few times I've gone to BKK in 2010, the girls I chat to stop responding or say they are unavailable. I haven't had the same problem when chatting with girls in China, Hong Kong or Australia.

The girls are not bar girls or FL's but uni educated girls (so they tell me).

Are any BKK specialists able to shed any light on why BKK girls seem shyer?

In the first place, have you actually met anyone (those you chat before) of your Thai chat-mate (as I call them by). Once they know you want to meet them in person, chances of it taking place is really slim. Also depend a lot on what you have been conversing about.

I am lucky, I managed to meet one of them, we had a nice lunch, and she told me many horrific stories and proposals..;) Today we are still chatting and hope to meet again whenever we can....:D

I am not a BKK specialist, just share my experiences. I don't have chat mates Hong Kong or China........

Maybe a web cam / video call would yield more success.....:p

My favorite tailor is located at the corner of Sukhumvit Soi 26. The name of the place is beethoven and owned by a Thai not Indians! Tailor workmanship are excellent and price is reasonable! In fact, I'll be going there next week!

Hehe, have read about complaints about some tailors. Maybe those farther away from the touristy/farang area are better and less chop chop :D

Returned from Bangkok yesterday after two days there on business, but which gave me a little bit of time to explore. I'm a Bangkok newbie, so I have nothing startling to pass on, but just wanted to share my observations.

On Thursday, finished a dinner and was dropped back at my hotel on Silom Street a about 10pm. On a brief trip to Bangkok previously I'd been much more impressed by Nana Plaza than Patpong and I was keen to explore Soi Cowboy for the first time.

However, time was against me as I needed to be in good shape for work on Friday, so walked down to Patpong (about 10 minutes from the hotel).

The Patpong area, was busier and more crowded than I'd remembered before, my impression was of a lot of tourists there for a 'look see' and also to buy the ever present fake designer goods. It was an unpleasant crush on the street that didn't leave a lot of opportunity to carefully consider the options available. I saw King's Castle, a bar a friend had suggested, so went straight in. The place was pretty empty of customers and I was struck by the shabbiness of the bar and the girls - who were mainly old, overweight and facially unattractive. Average looks was 3/10.

I probably should have walked out, but found myself sitting down and ordering a beer. I was quickly surrounded, by two hags and one relatively good looking girl (7/10, but looked like Miss Universe in this crowd).

By this stage I was running short of time if I was going to have some fun and still get a decent sleep, so after a round of girl drinks, I bar fined the better looking one (Baht500) and took her back to the hotel. I hadn't done my research properly so was in no position to negotiate on the ST/LT rates which were quoted to me as 2K/4K.

What followed back at the hotel was a mechanical and uninspiring 1 shot session. When she told me she had to leave, as she had a day job and couldn't stay all night, I was actually pleased that she was going.

I went to sleep frustrated at a wasted opportunity, and knowing that had I done some diligent research on SBF I could have avoided my schoolboy errors. So decided rather than return on Friday to Singapore, I should extend my stay by a night and see if I could save the trip.

Just to add to my newbie Bangkok report, just submitted.

Managed to get clear of business commitments by about 7pm, quick change in the hotel and then out to get a taxi to either Nana Plaza or Soi Cowboy. Traffic on Silom Street was absolutely gridlocked and after a discrete enquiry with the bell boy decided to take the MRT to Sukhumvit and walk to Soi Cowboy.

On reaching Sukhumvit Station I had a choice of exits a vague idea that I was looking for Soi 23, but no real idea precisely where - also the map the hotel had given me wasn't really detailed enough to help me get to the target. I was a bit too embarrassed to start asking random Thai strangers where Soi Cowboy was so took a guess and headed out of one of the station exits. The wrong one as it turned out as I walked for 10 to 15 minutes and found it difficult to get onto Soi 23. When I eventually did, all I found was a few normal bars and restaurants on what seemed like a normal relatively quiet street. Basically, I didn't know what I was looking for or in fact where it was. More very poor preparation.

By this stage I was experiencing a little bit of frustration, and time was starting to ebb away. After another 5 or 10 minutes of walking around the area I started to come across some massage shops - which wasn't what I was looking for. Most of the them had plump aging women dressed in polo shirts sat out of the front. However, one shop was a little bit different and the girls were dressed in traditional Thai costume, one of whom was a real SYT and beautiful (9/10). Still my mission was not a massage and I passed by. After more frustrating minutes, checking out side streets and finding nothing more than respectable hotels and restaurants, my mind went back to the beautiful massage girl and the thought that she might at lease be able to ease some of the tension.

I soon found the shop and the girl. The Thai massage was quoted at 200 baht per hour. She took me to a very clean and comfortable cubicle before leaving to change into smart but sexy, on her, shorts and shirt. She then proceeded to give me a very professional spa quality massage. In her technique there were no indications that it was anything other than a legit joint, with no extras. The massage was so good that I was quite happy to resign myself to that reality and not risk causing offence by unwelcome roaming - despite the fact that on close inspection she was the complete SYT package. Therefore I was quite taken aback when after about 90 minutes she shyly popped the GQ. Easy answer and I didn't argue when Baht1500 was quoted for FJ (I think I overpaid, but didn't have the data or the willpower to debate with her).

Great 10/10 GFE session followed - very sexy slim body with great boobs was revealed in the process.

With morale restored I was able to continue my search for Soi Cowboy, report to follow...

Yes, I still show up in Thailand every year end and have a drink with Bro Norice in every trip. Also met Bro Yinyang in BKK in three consecutive Christmas. In recent New Year Eve, I even stopped by Pattaya and couldn't quite believe the magnitude of Pattaya scene nowadays.

Turn left 50mtrs, and you see bright gogo neons. Or if you do exit on main street level, turn left and cross the busy Asoke junction (at corner).

Never feel too shy to ask in LOS. SC is thaglish, and you'll not be misunderstood (or misdirected). And you can always take a motorsai (speedy but hairy experience though).

I am in jkt and had heard about tons of stories from brothers here abt the comparisions of bkk to jkt as jkt can be such heaven at times, we have sincerely no boundaries as to what we wishes to do!

I've been to bkk a few times but my last trip was 2 yrs back.

i'll be planning a trip during CNY down to bkk for a 4 days 3 nights with my parents(i am bringing them for praying to 4 faced buddha) ard 3rd Feb to 7 Feb.

As u can see that i'll bascially be doing my nature call in the day as a fillial son and using the night as the man, i herewith call upon my fellow bros here to guide me in fulfilling this trip as a fruitful ones.

It'll be great be there's a samster bkk gathering during this period, where i can let my hair(below) down and play bkk up..side..down...hehe

Well, not quite that I didn’t find it, it just a bit longer than it should. I walked down Soi 23 for 5 minutes from the massage place , then on the right hand side, all was revealed. Just what I was hoping for bright neon colourful neon lights and lots of people clearly out for a good time. I saw Baccara on the right, went in for a recce – impressive stage show both at eye level and looking up, but full of people and nowhere to sit. So I thought I’d see what else was available. Almost opposite I found Sahara – I was drawn in by a very easy on the eye Thai MILF in a black dress. Inside was a bright modern bar with hardly any customers, but a lot of very cute dancers on skimpy red costumes on stage.

My ‘greeter’ stayed with me for a drink (my beer Baht150 and the LD just over 200 I think) and I noticed that there was another slightly less attractive group of girls in skimpy black costumes with brown belts.

The Mama quickly pounced and cut to the chase quoting BF of B800 for my ‘greeter’ and B700 for the girls in black. The girls in red were ‘reserved’.
Next time I looked up from my drink, the girls in red had left the stage and been replaced the other group who were just wearing their, not particularly broad, brown belts.

I was finding my new acquaintance quite good company by this stage and rather than continue my, to date, rather unsuccessful wanderings alone decided to pay the BF and see what unfolded from there.

Having not long finished my massage experience, I wasn’t quite ready for a return to base, so asked my new friend to take me somewhere where we could have a drink and there would be some decent music. We got in a cab and soon found myself in Club Climax at The Ambassador Hotel (cover charge was about B250 each, including first drink). Excellent r’n’b cover band and a busy mixed crowd of locals, expats and tourists. I was fixed up, so didn’t pay much attention, but I got the impression that there were FL opportunities as well.

Left the club at about 1pm, as I had to leave for the airport at about 6am.
By this stage my new friend was obviously quite enjoying having been taken out for a few drinks and being treated with a bit of respect, so once we got to my hotel I got a very respectable payback in terms of enthusiasm, attention and expertise.

We parted on very good terms in the morning (after about an hours sleep) and I gave her the LT rate that had been quoted to me the previous night in another place (Baht4K), although no deal had been pre-agreed.

A much better outcome than my previous night, but still so much to discover.

By this stage I was experiencing a little bit of frustration, and time was starting to ebb away. After another 5 or 10 minutes of walking around the area I started to come across some massage shops - which wasn't what I was looking for. Most of the them had plump aging women dressed in polo shirts sat out of the front. However, one shop was a little bit different and the girls were dressed in traditional Thai costume, one of whom was a real SYT and beautiful (9/10). Still my mission was not a massage and I passed by. After more frustrating minutes, checking out side streets and finding nothing more than respectable hotels and restaurants, my mind went back to the beautiful massage girl and the thought that she might at lease be able to ease some of the tension.

I soon found the shop and the girl. The Thai massage was quoted at 200 baht per hour. She took me to a very clean and comfortable cubicle before leaving to change into smart but sexy, on her, shorts and shirt. She then proceeded to give me a very professional spa quality massage. In her technique there were no indications that it was anything other than a legit joint, with no extras. The massage was so good that I was quite happy to resign myself to that reality and not risk causing offence by unwelcome roaming - despite the fact that on close inspection she was the complete SYT package. Therefore I was quite taken aback when after about 90 minutes she shyly popped the GQ. You probably got lost cos you tried to enter SC using soi 23. You can enter SC from soi 21 or 23. Actually when you get out of Sukhumvit MRT the perpendicular road to Sukhumvit road is soi 21 (asoke) or Ratchadapisek Road. Just enter SC from soi 21. You must have gotten lost in the even sois like soi 18 or 20 or 22 where there are those small massage places.

Also 1500baht for ST at these small massage for SYT is a bargain. Most of these SYT gals will ask for 2000 or 2500 ST:D

After leaving the Bkk nightlife for few years, it is very refreshing from last week trip. I ate lot of seafood, tour shopping belt a few times, go to soi cowboy and SLIM at RCA. Will be to be back soon to visit other places that are left out.

I had cafe latte in one of these shops in Phuket Town just few days ago. A very attractive middle age Thai lady ( she was my type ) was selling regular and specialty coffee and cookies in a small shop, about 20 seats, Thai customers. She obviously likes what she was doing.

I think it is doable for this amount of money. Profitability is the big ?

Bro, Siam Square/Siam Paragon/Central World Plaza/MBK area is the same as our orchard road hor...:D

Rental in these areas is probably the highest in BKK. It is probably in the region of THB 2,500 and above per sqm.

If you want to set up a coffee shop using just SGD 10K, my suggestion to you is to go further from the central BKK areas. There is no way you can set up a coffee shop with just SGD 10K in the areas you mentioned. :D

You have to know what type of coffee bar you want to start up. High end/mid end/low end? High end ones in the shopping centres like the ones you mentioned will cost a bomb. 50K might be sufficient to start one if you are going small scale in these shopping centres.

Yes, 50K is enough to live and party in Bangkok! I'm also retired in Bangkok and loving it every minute. Why work, when you don't have to, just enjoy life. Tell your friend to PM me if he needs additional information regarding retirement in Bangkok. Bangkok life style is cheaper than Singapore or Hawaii but you need at least $2,500 US dollars to live comfortably! Money talks and shit stinks in Thailand!

i just go to Nana and find out the Carousel bar is now closed (i think i come bkk not often enough , i dont know when this happened) - i used to like their shower show

so even if you run a business where guaranteed got demand for what your selling (pussy) , can still go bankrupt

i think a lot of the bar the turnover can be quite quick , even if the bar name the same management can change because old management run out of money - i also remember a few years ago Spice Girls in soi cowboy had the most beautiful girls i ever see in soi cowboy , but then a few years ago the management change and then the girls all very ugly , until i stop bothering to walk in

Q Bar

I was just in Bangkok last week and I ended up at Q-Bar. This place is not your typical go-go place nor is it CM2; filled with WL.

My intentions was just to listen to the DJ and check out the scene. My original plan was to stay there for a few drinks and head to climax to see what I can hook up.

Well it must have been full moon and the lucky stars was shining my way. I was able to hook up with 2 girls on two occasions where they were just having fun with their friends and may have had a few more drinks than they wanted....

So never write off a bar even when it is not a typical pick up joint...

My favourite place for jazz/blues/r&b is Saxophone Pub at Victory Monument. Right next to the Victory Point makan centre, below the skytrain station. Different days, different bands and kinds of jazz/blues. Most happenning night is Saturday, but other days are great too. Mr Ko Saxman performs there quite often. Another jazz place I went to years ago is Brown Sugar. It should still be around, somewhere around Silom if I am not wrong, address should be on the web. Both places attract a somewhat yuppie crowd, local and foreign. Cheers!

hi guys, last year i was in BKK and went to RCA for some drink n dance happening session with 2 of my guy frens. Oh well, crowded and if u think that singapore Zouk is happening, den im sorry u must really goto SLIM/FLUX..music can be equally as good as any clubs in spore. Gals are classier and of cuz prettier as compared to those look unriped fruits in singapore club scenes..
was a happy man thru a nite cuz a group of thai local were asking ask to join them...bought drks and had fun the whole nite. Grind and rubba against the butts of different sexy young hot thais...some were fair and my particular veg was tanned but look more like SPG gals in singapore.
Finally when its abt time 3plus.. we were abt to leave that place and i was more than happy cuz she was holding on my hands like GF BF alrdy... i was thinking to myself "HO SEI LIAO....got ONS liao" ....i was abit high tho.
At about this time when we board on to a cab...i was wondering how come so many of her frens followed??guess wat ? they said they wanna hit another club that closes at 7am ?? I was like WTF ??? SIngaporeans bio clock when comes to club ends about 3plus 4plus but of cuz those younger ones can tahen after 4...for me im like 30 alrdy ..how to tahan till 7am ????

Went to shark in soi cowboy. Actually got 3-4 quite chio ones.

But didn't choose a dancer inside..instead prefer the GRO standing outside (152 or 125). Not uber stunning type. But slim, tall and GND. DMG was 2k for few hours + a meal.

4 Hours Transit in BKK

Calling all the thai experts here. I have a small window of transit 3 hours in BKK international airport next week when i fly back to china.
As i am not familiar with BKK can anyone suggest some good enjoyment? Another potential problems is that my flight will touchdown at 10am on a friday and my next flight is at 1pm.

You have if:
...you can pass immigration within 10 min
..you get the new train to downtown within another 10 min
...you exit the train at Petchabury Road (4th station from the airport) ..iits another 15 min
... find a cab immediatley, go to "Riviera" massage. Its a big, well known place. be there in another 10 min. = 45 min till here.
...dont enter Riviera, but next door Hawaii... select a gal fm fishbowl, pay 900 Bht and enjoy 1 1/2 hours.
Now we are on 2 hours 15 min. You got another 45 min to go back same way, pass immigration and board the plane.

But sorry to say, bro, you wont make it, as passing immigration and walking in that fucking big airport will already take min 30 min... however, if there are real 4 hours, then its possible.

Personally, I dun like weekend clubbing scene in BKK.... it is damn pack, difficult to move around. There is no crowd control, management dun bother how many are packed inside the building. Once u r inside, u dun feel like going out, once u r out, going in is another tiring hassle. There is only 1 entrance and 1 or 2 emergency exit. Good luck if any accident occurs.

I occasionally will go during weekdays, force by SYT whom promise me aftermath. :D

Santika is a good example of over crowded n once there is an accident, hell breaks lose.

Well, if you seriously want, you can always call one of the oil massage parlours and book the girl and ask her to meet you at the airport hotel for a 1-2 hour session. But that is considering that you manage to book the airport hotel and usually they will need your room number before they will send the gal down. :D

Other than that, I'm sorry but you really can't do anything in this 3 hour that you have since all the action is downtown or near downtown. :p

Let me add on.... personally I doubt there is any near the airport. If so rush and can't choose the ger I like, I might as well save my sperm for next mission. Why die die must unload in Thailand?? If I am not wrong, u r going China.... excuses can always be created if u r desperate and horny. China has tons of gers waiting to unload for u. Worse comes, LL go back SG, head towards GL n unload.

For me if I am in oversea, have ger then bonk if no, it is another day pass.

Bro u got go "normal" clubbing one meh? But seriously, u r right about the over crowding. All popular clubs in Bangkok (or Thailand) are fire traps. Santika (R.I.P) was a tragic example. Not sure if its any use but best try get a table near the door or at least take note of where the fire exits are. Then again a bit LL if u already gone thru one (or 2) bottle of whisky your judgment & motor skills would b pretty fucked up already.

Partying in Bangkok is great coz the people you meet in clubs are friendly and easily approachable. Don't think a Singaporean will share his bottle of whisky with me when mine runs out. Or that SYT will dance with me without thinking I'm some ham sup old uncle (wait a minute, I am!).

Singapore has better DJs headlining its clubs. Reputation wise for international clubbing Singapore is on the map. Zouk Out is a great testament to how far Singapore have come. Most of the so called "international DJs" that play in Bangkok are perhaps at best B-grade DJs but me suspects the Thais don't care too much.

In Singapore you can party until sunrise at the same club without having to stumble out of the club at 2am, grab a cab and rush down to an after hours club (thanks Taksin!) and start the party again. I think its damn "leche" and spoils the party mood.

End of the day I don't understand most of the Thai cover bands at those places but its fun, the alcohol is cheap and the girls are friendlier - so for me thats makes a good "clubbing" or shall I say "party experience" for me. So... mai bpen rai and sanok sanok! Don't b so serious everybody!

Partying in Bangkok is great coz the people you meet in clubs are friendly and easily approachable. Don't think a Singaporean will share his bottle of whisky with me when mine runs out. Or that SYT will dance with me without thinking I'm some ham sup old uncle (wait a minute, I am!).
True, quite diff social mindset in LOS. Even got neighbourly birthday cake on occassion. Another service diff: Your scotch glass never gets empty (whisky dek tries to recall your poison mix). Whilst here is mostly DIY.
All popular clubs in Bangkok (or Thailand) are fire traps. Santika (R.I.P) was a tragic example. Not sure if its any use but best try get a table near the door or at least take note of where the fire exits are. Then again a bit LL if u already gone thru one (or 2) bottle of whisky your judgment & motor skills would b pretty fucked up already.
dun like weekend clubbing scene in BKK....no crowd control, management dun bother how many are packed inside the building. Once u r inside, u dun feel like going out, once u r out, going in is another tiring hassle
Yeah, tell me about it. Outside fun bit, even loo and fag breaks are a pain.

U will surprised to know that most "disco/clubs" are actually running under a restaurant license! That's why they serve food and have those small tables+chairs. Probably cheaper tax structure. Aiyah, so cheem. It all depends on individual (preference, budget) and travel plans. Example, if you wanted to skive off to HKT or HDY and enroute to Bkk -budget is only option for return to SG (point to point travel).

Anybody likes the tarmac (if by AA) bus circling half of Suvarnabhum? Tiger and Jetstar use the aerobridge at least.

But we know, you are the king of the road:p;)

Stayed once there 7 years ago (bit wet behind my ears then). Kns, faaaar away from anything (unless you are into trade shows, BITEC etc). Maybe still do places like Sky, Florence. Only thing I fondly remembered was the nice msian chinese gal doing her tour of duty (intern?) at reception in LOS. Pity, I only got to know her upon checkout! Hotel bar then was dead, aptly called "Up to You" +555.
